The IELTS General Reading Module
is divided into three sections of increasing
difficulty. There are 40 questions in all – 14
questions in Section 1, and 13 questions in sections
2 and 3.

READING - CONTENT
The IELTS General Reading Module contains
texts from a variety of social, academic and general
work contexts. The overall length of the reading
test is about 2000-2700 words. The texts themselves
are taken from a variety of sources, as seen below:
